About This Role

This is a full-time Special Education Teacher position providing educational support for K-12 students, specifically focusing on 3rd through 6th graders with severe autism, medical needs, and limited mobility. The role involves developing IEPs, providing specialized instruction, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored for students with severe autism and medical complexities
• Provide specialized instructional support and interventions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and educational strategies
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional approaches as needed
• Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment that accommodates limited mobility

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts Special Education License
