Spanish Bilingual General Education Teacher

About This Role

Provide specialized one-on-one, in-person homebound instruction in a foundational class to a K-12 student on the autism spectrum with moderate to severe needs. This role requires bilingual proficiency in Spanish to facilitate instruction and parental engagement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized, in-person instruction adhering to the student's educational plan
• Collaborate with parents, providing updates and engaging in bilingual communication
• Adjust instructional methods to support student growth and engagement
• Maintain accurate records of progress and attendance

Requirements

• Certification as a general education teacher with bilingual proficiency in Spanish
• Experience working with students requiring moderate to severe programming support
• Understanding and experience supporting students on the autism spectrum
• Ability to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking families
• Comfort with delivering one-on-one, in-person homebound instruction
