Software Engineering Manager

About This Role

Lead software engineering projects and manage a team of developers for a global consulting provider focusing on health research, data, and technology solutions for federal and non-government clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor software developers
• Lead technical projects
• Architect technical solutions
• Solve complicated technical challenges
• Propose innovative solutions
• Write technical proposals
• Present at technical conferences

Requirements

• 10+ years of software development experience
• 8+ years of experience working in modern software engineering and product development methodologies, including Agile

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline
• 10+ years of software development experience

Nice to Have

• Experience with software development languages (Javascript, Java, Python, R)
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and deployments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Project management experience
• Knowledge of AI/ML
• 5+ years managing others
• Experience working with Federal clients particularly in HHS
• Experience in Healthcare IT domain
