This Shipper/Checker/Loader role involves preparing and verifying daily customer shipments, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining inventory accuracy for a global leader in sustainable paper and packaging solutions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare daily shipments according to client specifications
- Verify shipments received match packing slips
- Load and unload trailers
- Complete training and maintain license for Forklift operation
- Maintain inventory accuracy and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Ensure deliveries get to appropriate department/recipient
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- 1 year forklift driving experience
- 1 year parcel shipping system experience (UPS/FedEx)
- 1 year inventory management software experience
- 1 year scanning/barcoding experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Intermediate math skills
- Intermediate computer skills (email, word processing, etc.)
- Ability to work overtime as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Minimum 1 year forklift driving experience, 1 year parcel shipping system experience, 1 year inventory management software experience, and 1 year scanning/barcoding experience.
