Mill Trainee

About This Role

This entry-level production role involves learning fundamental mill functions, participating in safety programs, and developing skills to advance within various mill departments.

Responsibilities

• Learn the basic work functions needed in any of the assigned mill departments
• Establish basic work functions in any assigned mill departments
• Participate in all department safety programs
• Proactively learn the skills needed for positions above Mill Trainee

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or GED
• Two (2) years of work experience
• Willing and able to work rotating shifts

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 years of work experience

Nice to Have

• Drive and an excellent work ethic
• Excellent communication skills
• Desire to progress in different mill positions
