The Shift Supervisor supports CVS Store Management in driving store performance and building customer loyalty by focusing on excellent customer service. This role leads the store staff, ensures smooth operations, and is responsible for all opening and closing procedures when managers are not on site.
Responsibilities
- Work effectively with store management and store crews
- Supervise the store’s crew through assigning, directing and following up on all activities
- Effectively communicate information both to and from store management and crews
- Assist customers with their questions, problems and complaints
- Promote CVS customer service culture (Greet, offer help, and thank)
- Handle all customer relations issues in accordance with company policy
- Maintain customer/patient confidentiality
- Price merchandise and stock shelves
- Execute the displays, sign and inventory of weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise
- Execute the display and maintenance of off-shelf merchandise
Requirements
- Deductive reasoning ability
- Analytical skills
- Computer skills
- Advanced communication skills
- Supervision skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to respond to urgent issues at the store
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Nice to Have
- Experience as a retail supervisor
