The Shift Supervisor supports the CVS Store Management team by driving store execution and performance and building customer loyalty through excellent service. When a manager is not present, this role leads the store staff, ensures smooth operations, and is responsible for all opening and closing procedures.
Responsibilities
- Work effectively with store management and store crews
- Supervise store crew by assigning, directing, and following up on all activities
- Effectively communicate information to and from store management and crews
- Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints
- Promote CVS customer service culture (Greet, offer help, and thank)
- Handle all customer relations issues in accordance with company policy
- Maintain customer/patient confidentiality
- Price merchandise and stock shelves
- Execute displays, sign, and inventory of weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise
- Reset departments following POGs
Requirements
- Deductive reasoning ability
- Analytical skills
- Computer skills
- Advanced communication skills
- Supervision skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to respond to urgent issues at the store
Qualifications
- High School Diploma Or Equivalent Preferred But Not Required
Nice to Have
- Experience as a retail supervisor
