The Shift Supervisor acts as a key leader, supporting the store management team, driving store execution, and building customer loyalty by providing excellent customer service. This role is responsible for overseeing store staff, ensuring smooth operations, and completing all opening and closing procedures when a manager is not present.
Responsibilities
- Work effectively with store management and store crews
- Supervise the store’s crew through assigning, directing, and following up on all activities
- Effectively communicate information both to and from store management and crews
- Assist customers with their questions, problems, and complaints
- Promote CVS customer service culture (Greet, offer help, and thank customers)
- Handle all customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience
- Maintain customer/patient confidentiality
- Price merchandise
- Stock shelves
- Execute the displays, signage, and inventory of weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise
- Execute the display and maintenance of off-shelf merchandise
- Reset departments following POGs (Planograms)
Requirements
- Deductive reasoning ability
- Analytical skills
- Computer skills
- Advanced communication skills
- Supervision skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to respond to urgent issues at the store
Qualifications
- High School Diploma Or Equivalent Preferred But Not Required
Nice to Have
- Experience as a retail supervisor
