The Shift Supervisor supports the store management team, driving store execution and performance while building customer loyalty. This role leads the store staff, ensures smooth store operations, and is responsible for opening and closing procedures when managers are not present.
Responsibilities
- Manage and work effectively with store management and store crews
- Supervise store crew by assigning, directing, and following up on all activities
- Communicate information effectively to and from store management and crews
- Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints
- Promote CVS customer service culture (Greet, offer help, and thank customers)
- Handle customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience
- Maintain customer/patient confidentiality
- Price merchandise
- Stock shelves
- Execute displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise
- Execute the display and maintenance of off-shelf merchandise
- Reset departments following POGs
Requirements
- Deductive reasoning ability
- Analytical skills
- Computer skills
- Advanced communication skills
- Supervision skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to respond to urgent issues at the store
Qualifications
- High School Diploma Or Equivalent Preferred But Not Required
Nice to Have
- Experience as a retail supervisor
