Shift Manager

About This Role

The Shift Manager directs and oversees the activities of crew members to ensure high-quality service and food delivery while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. This role involves coaching, training, and implementing cost control measures.

Responsibilities

• Assign, direct, and follow up on activities of Crew team members
• Provide high-quality service and food to customers
• Provide guidance and coaching to crew team members, including assignment delegation, instruction, and follow-through
• Ensure proper training for crew team members
• Maintain safe working conditions by ensuring all safety guidelines are followed
• Monitor tasks performed by crew team members for product Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (QSC)
• Execute established cost control systems including proper food prep amounts, procedure execution, and bin chart usage
• Minimize food cost
• Perform opening or closing procedures

Requirements

• Ability to legally work in the US
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to come to work regularly and promptly
• Ability to stand for long periods of time without a break
• Ability to comply with all food safety regulations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet required service time standards
• Ability to take direction and work well with others
• Ability to react to change and maintain a positive attitude
• Ability to obtain Food Safety Certification
• 1 or more years of restaurant or supervisory experience
