Service Technician

About This Role

Install, repair, and maintain testing systems at customer sites as a Field Service Representative, providing technical assistance and managing in-house equipment repairs.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain testing systems at customer site
• Perform in-house repairs of defective customer equipment
• Maintain customer repair facilities, including calibration, repair and maintenance of toxic gas monitoring system
• Maintain customer test equipment
• Provide technical assistance to the customer, including parts and technical question research
• Assist with Requests for Quotations
• Prepare Field Service Reports with sufficient detail for customer invoicing, warranty charges, labor and materials charges, and policy

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of electronics repair
• Ability to troubleshoot to component level
• In-depth knowledge of electronic test equipment
• Ability to drive an automobile
