Service Technician

About This Role

This role involves performing a wide variety of daily tasks related to upfitting and repairing aluminum trailers and truck bodies, requiring diverse mechanical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Upfit small to medium sized aluminum truck bodies on pickup trucks and truck chassis
• Repair trailer brakes
• Completely rebuild wrecks
• Perform aluminum MIG welding
• Utilize common hand tools
• Operate a forklift
• Execute electrical wiring tasks
• Accurately measure and perform basic math
• Work with and interpret engineering drawings
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and respectful environment
• Cross train in each area of the trailer service department as needed

Requirements

• High mechanical aptitude to safely and skillfully operate hand tools and other metal working equipment
• Ability to work safely both alone and with others
• Great attitude and willingness to work
• At least 18 years of age and legal to work in the USA
• Ability to pass a physical & 4 panel drug screen

Qualifications

• Prior experience in relatable work is preferred but not a requirement.
