Service Line Coordinator SCS

About This Role

The Supply Chain Services Service Line Coordinator develops, implements, and manages a supply help system to meet the needs of the facility's specialty area. This role serves as a departmental liaison for Supply Chain Services with key departments.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains par level systems for procedure-specific departments within the hospital
• Confirms accurate receiving of products for specific departments
• Verifies hospital deliveries and delivers to the appropriate department
• Provides resource help for expense reduction opportunities
• Documents monthly supply cost savings and inventory reductions
• Maintains records like requisition dates, delivery verifications, invoice price confirmation, back-orders, and implant pricing
• Ensures accurate tracking of supply data, including back-orders, manufacturer numbers, expiration dates, product recalls, and lot numbers
• Processes department-specific supply and implant requisitions
• Helps maintain inventory by reducing it while keeping enough supplies for stores and special orders
• Performs regular checks of expiration dates and handles removal, replacement, and documentation as directed

Requirements

• H.S. Diploma/GED Equivalent
• 1 Year of Experience

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma/GED Equivalent
• 1 Year of Experience in a related job

Nice to Have

• 2 years of college education preferred
• Basic communication skills
