Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities, including understanding symptoms, treatment alternatives, drug properties and interactions, and preventive health-care measures
• Develop and implement comprehensive outcomes-based patient treatment plans
• Counsel patients concerning medical and psychological/psychiatric conditions, treatment plans, and behavior modification
• Interpret and evaluate laboratory and other diagnostic tests

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Texas RN licensure or RN licensure with compact privilege
• Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Texas
• National Nurse Practitioner certification in area of specialty
• Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire or transfer

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Nice to Have

• 2 years experience as a primary care Nurse Practitioner
