Senior Trainer Specialist

About This Role

Design curriculum and develop cohesive eLearning content as a Senior Training Specialist. This role involves creating distance learning materials using multimedia tools and collaborating with subject matter experts to evaluate course effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop distance learning using multimedia development tools
• Edit documents using a set of vetted guidelines
• Collaborate with a creative, synergetic team
• Provide subject matter knowledge to other teams
• Maintain project documentation
• Produce professional quality work within tight deadlines and evolving priorities
• Partner with other subject matter experts to obtain information, validate content, and evaluate the effectiveness of course delivery
• Utilize training tools and technologies to deliver cutting edge design solutions
• Facilitate and coordinate the development of training materials

Requirements

• Expertise in curriculum design
• Ability to take concepts and procedures and develop cohesive eLearning
• Ability to maintain a Public Trust clearance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's with 2-5 years of IT training experience
• Minimum of twelve (12) years of experience, with at least nine (9) years specifically in a training development role

Nice to Have

• Experience training adult learners in the field of Probation and Pretrial Services
• Knowledge and good understanding of the Probation and Pretrial Services Automated Case Tracking System (PACTS)
• Work and interact with others in a team environment
• Accuracy and attention to detail and good organizational skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
