Lead structural engineering teams and deliver innovative structural systems for complex, high-impact projects in New York City. This role involves directing design, mentoring engineers, and ensuring project integrity and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Direct structural design and analysis from concept through construction phases
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, architects, and technical staff
- Interface with clients, consultants, and city agencies to ensure design integrity and regulatory compliance
- Maintain control over project budgets, timelines, and deliverables
- Oversee quality assurance and technical documentation, ensuring the highest standards are met
Requirements
- At least 10 years of structural design experience on projects within New York City
- PE License in New York State
- Demonstrated leadership in managing project teams and stakeholder relationships
- High-level proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, RISA, AutoCAD, and Revit
- Thorough knowledge of NYC building codes and local construction procedures
- Strong communication and organizational capabilities
Qualifications
