Senior Roadway Project Manager

About This Role

Lead a large multi-discipline roadway reconstruction project for the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission and support the development and growth of GAI’s transportation practice. This role involves significant client interaction and strategic marketing to secure project opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a large multi-discipline roadway reconstruction project for the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission
• Support the development and growth of GAI’s transportation practice
• Identify and develop a marketing strategy for winning specific project opportunities
• Oversee engineers in the development of plans and financial monitoring
• Act as GAI’s client leadership representative
• Perform advisory or consulting work across broad project areas or within specialized areas
• Oversee multiple large or multidiscipline project teams
• Develop projects for accomplishing practice objectives
• Negotiate critical and controversial issues with leadership
• Represent the organization at important functions and conferences

Requirements

• 20+ years of Project Management experience on complex roadway design projects for PennDOT, the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, and other local agencies across Pennsylvania
• PE Registration in Pennsylvania
• Knowledge and experience with PennDOT and the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. Engineering, master’s degree or Equivalent Experience Preferred
• 20+ years of Project Management on complex roadway design projects for PennDOT, the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, and other local agencies across Pennsylvania.

Nice to Have

• Reciprocity in multiple states for PE License
• Master's degree in Engineering
