About This Role

Supervise mental health program professionals at the California Health Care Facility, ensuring high-level psychiatric care for a diverse correctional population.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional supervision of mental health program professions within various units including CCCMS, EOP, SNY/EOP, and Mental Health Crisis Beds (MHCB)
• Maintain cooperative working relationships within the department, other governmental agencies, health care partners, and communities
• Provide high level of health care to a diverse correctional population

Requirements

• Must take and pass the examination for Senior Psychiatrist (Supervisor) to obtain list eligibility before applying.
