Clinical Social Worker

About This Role

This Clinical Social Worker role focuses on conducting assessments, formulating diagnoses, and developing treatment plans for a diverse correctional population within a health and correctional facility setting. The position also involves coordinating placement with community resources and contributing to the successful reintegration of individuals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and summarize case information for diagnosis, treatment, and dispositional release
• Diagnose and/or collaborate in the formulation of a diagnosis
• Develop, monitor, and modify treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team
• Provide assessments, group therapy, and collateral conferences
• Document and evaluate patients' progress in treatment
• Coordinate placement with community resources and the Classification and Parole Representative

Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited school of social work approved by the Council on Social Work Education

Qualifications

• Completion of a master's degree program from an accredited school of social work, approved by the Council on Social Work Education
