Senior ICT Designer

About This Role

The Remote Senior ICT Designer will apply in-depth knowledge of ICT infrastructure to influence and perform detailed design and administrative oversight of ICT systems. This role supports communications and information technology within organizations, contributing to innovative infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities

• Apply in-depth knowledge of ICT Infrastructure types and uses to perform complex assignments.
• Perform ICT design for Structured Cabling Systems, Campus/Wide Area Networks (WAN), and Passive Optical Networks (PON).
• Identify power panel and circuit requirements and coordinate ICT power needs.
• Conduct site and building ICT asset inventories and general mapping systems knowledge.
• Work on detailed design assignments with minimal supervision and propose solutions to complex problems.
• Support multiple projects and adapt to schedule fluctuations and travel as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and hold minimum 'S' security clearance
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft 365 Suite
• Familiarity with Codes, Standards, and regulations pertinent to ICT design

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree from an accredited college/university or relevant experience
• 5+ years of design experience with ICT infrastructure

Nice to Have

• Willingness to pursue ICT certifications and PE path
