About This Role

Join the AWS Professional Services team as a Senior Front-end Engineer to design, implement, and scale modern web applications for customers, focusing on intuitive user interfaces and exceptional user experiences. You will provide deep expertise in modern web technologies and responsive design to drive customer success in their digital transformation journey.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure front-end applications on AWS tailored to customer needs
• Develop and deploy responsive web applications and user interfaces that solve real-world business problems
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders to identify high-value front-end modernization opportunities and gather requirements
• Provide technical guidance on applying front-end best practices, design systems, and web technologies responsibly and cost-efficiently
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers on the latest advancements in front-end technologies and innovative approaches
• Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable front-end components and design patterns

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development with object oriented language experience
• 5+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience
• 4+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience
• US Citizen
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of software development with object oriented language experience, 5+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience, 4+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience

Nice to Have

• Advanced technology degree or AWS Professional level certification
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR
• Experience communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences in pre-sales environments
• Knowledge of web services technologies such as SOAP, HTTP, WSDL, XSD, and REST
• Experience in a broad range of software design approaches and common UX patterns
• Experience building or integrating generative AI features into applications
