Support the U.S. Navy's #1 acquisition program by providing day-to-day on-site support for future attack submarines design, development, and R&D planning. This role involves generating documentation, coordinating technical teams, and assisting with various studies and meetings.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day on-site support for future attack submarines design, development and R&D planning for SSN(X) program office
- Generate strategic and detailed programmatic documentation, schedules, and plans
- Coordinate action between the Ship Design Manager, financial staff, and technical and R&D teams
- Compile and coalesce inputs from stakeholders into cohesive draft reports, briefs, and products
- Manage version control of products and generate final copies for delivery
- Compile tasking proposals and generate high-level summary documentation for customer prioritization and funding
- Track execution of tasking and document receipt of deliverables
- Assist with the planning and coordination of various studies, meetings, and working groups
- Generate briefing materials, agendas, and rosters for team meetings
- Research requirements, conduct analyses, generate reports, and provide general program management support
Requirements
- Active or current DoD Secret Security Clearance
- Master’s degree in any engineering discipline or extensive NAVSEA/submarine experience
- 10 Years of professional engineering experience
- Three (3) years of experience supporting Navy acquisition or operational programs
- Technical knowledge and experience working with electrical engineering, battery and power systems
- Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and MS Teams
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in any engineering discipline or extensive NAVSEA/submarine experience
- 10 years of professional engineering experience, with 3 years supporting Navy acquisition or operational programs
Nice to Have
- Operational experience with U.S. Navy Submarines
