This Senior Regional Business Development Manager role significantly impacts the growth of personal lines insurance products. The role involves leading a team of State Business Development Managers, identifying new business opportunities, and fostering strong relationships with distribution partners.

Responsibilities

  • Create and lead a team of State Business Development Managers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing distribution partners
  • Monitor existing relationships focusing on new business production and renewal retention
  • Collaborate with the Head of Personal Lines Distribution to target growth areas
  • Meet or exceed target goals through proactive territory management
  • Conduct regular meetings to assess performance and reinforce partnerships
  • Analyze territory performance and provide updates to leadership
  • Perform market research to identify trends in the competitive landscape
  • Attend industry events and stay informed of industry developments

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development
  • Must hold or be willing to obtain a resident P&C license
  • Proven track record of achieving goals and driving business growth
  • Strong understanding of insurance products, markets, and industry regulations
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented

Qualifications
