The Unarmed Security Officer will provide direct security and public services, protecting the hospital, staff, patients, and visitors by conducting patrols, monitoring, and controlling access while acting as a visible deterrent to illegal activities.
Responsibilities
- Support safety and security operations through patrols, monitoring, access control, and customer assistance
- Maintain the security and safety of the hospital, its staff, and its patients and visitors
- Serve as a visible deterrent to illegal activities on hospital property
- Provide supervision for at-risk patients in the hospital environment
Requirements
- Completed High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications
- Strong vision abilities including color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Ability to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift
- Ability to move or lift objects up to 80 lbs.
- Ability to help restrain or lift a person
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet Tarian's company driving guidelines if applicable
Qualifications
- Completed High School Diploma or GED

- Previous work experience with the public in a service setting
