Security Officer (Unarmed)

About This Role

The Unarmed Security Officer will provide direct security and public services, protecting the hospital, staff, patients, and visitors by conducting patrols, monitoring, and controlling access while acting as a visible deterrent to illegal activities.

Responsibilities

• Support safety and security operations through patrols, monitoring, access control, and customer assistance
• Maintain the security and safety of the hospital, its staff, and its patients and visitors
• Serve as a visible deterrent to illegal activities on hospital property
• Provide supervision for at-risk patients in the hospital environment

Requirements

• Completed High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications
• Strong vision abilities including color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
• Ability to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift
• Ability to move or lift objects up to 80 lbs.
• Ability to help restrain or lift a person
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet Tarian's company driving guidelines if applicable

Qualifications

• Completed High School Diploma or GED

Nice to Have

• Previous work experience with the public in a service setting
