This role involves safeguarding clients and properties as a Security Officer - Flex Entry Screener, focusing on access control, screening, and patrolling. You will provide excellent customer service and ensure a safe environment at retail and mall locations.
Responsibilities
- Serve and safeguard clients in retail/mall settings
- Welcome guests, support access control, and conduct entry screening
- Maintain a highly visible presence
- Perform routine patrols of assigned areas
- Document and report security-related concerns
- Communicate clearly with shoppers, tenants, and local teams
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly
- Coordinate with on-site management and/or emergency services as needed
- Complete routine reports and incident documentation
- Assist with guest flow and queue management during peak periods
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age (for unarmed roles) or 21+ years of age (for armed roles)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a background investigation
- Ability to pass a drug screen
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
Nice to Have
- State, county, or city issued security license
- Alarm panel experience
- Ability to lift more than 20 lbs
- Customer service experience
