Security Officer - Flex Entry Screener

About This Role

This role involves safeguarding clients and properties as a Security Officer - Flex Entry Screener, focusing on access control, screening, and patrolling. You will provide excellent customer service and ensure a safe environment at retail and mall locations.

Responsibilities

• Serve and safeguard clients in retail/mall settings
• Welcome guests, support access control, and conduct entry screening
• Maintain a highly visible presence
• Perform routine patrols of assigned areas
• Document and report security-related concerns
• Communicate clearly with shoppers, tenants, and local teams
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly
• Coordinate with on-site management and/or emergency services as needed
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation
• Assist with guest flow and queue management during peak periods

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age (for unarmed roles) or 21+ years of age (for armed roles)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a background investigation
• Ability to pass a drug screen

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

Nice to Have

• State, county, or city issued security license
• Alarm panel experience
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs
• Customer service experience
