Security Officer - Flex

About This Role

Provide essential security services as a Flex Security Officer, covering open shifts due to various operational needs, ensuring continuous, uninterrupted service to clients, while upholding honor, integrity, and trust.

Responsibilities

• Provide trained, competent support by working shifts that are open due to illness, call-offs, weather, vacation, or other causes
• Ensure continual, uninterrupted service to customers
• Be trained at various posts and/or facilities based on operational need
• Accept shifts as they become available due to staffing needs, including short notice call-ins
• Uphold core values of honor, integrity, and trust
• Perform a multitude of duties as specified by Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP
• Act quickly and efficiently according to directives
• Regularly stand or walk for extended periods of time and distance
• Mentally analyze situations, solve problems, and make decisions under pressure

Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Excellent customer service skills
• Willing and able to work holidays, weekends, and in all weather conditions
• Exceptional report writing skills
• Able to work independently
• Read and understand written instruction
• Communicate information and ideas in a clear and concise written form

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of experience in security, military, or law enforcement (preferred)

Nice to Have

• One year of experience in security, military, or law enforcement
