Join a leading security company as a Part-Time/Flex Security Officer in Medford, ensuring safety and security for various organizations while following Post Orders and SOPs. This role involves maintaining a visible presence, responding to incidents, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP
- Act quickly and efficiently according to directives
- Maintain full staffing by working occasional adjusted shifts with minimal notice, including extended, additional, or overtime shifts
- Regularly stand or walk for extended periods of time and distance (70%+ of a shift)
- Demonstrate reliability regarding attendance, punctuality, uniform appearance, and completion of company training
- Exercise sound judgment and problem-solving techniques under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Be responsive and proficient at technological communications (text, phone calls, radio, etc.)
- Clearly and concisely understand and communicate information and ideas in written form
- Complete tasks meticulously with great attention to detail, mindful of public perception
- Observe and report incidents accurately with exceptional report writing skills
- Work independently, in all weather conditions, and on nights & weekends
- Travel across the city when necessary to ensure coverage
Requirements
- Valid Unarmed Oregon DPSST License (or obtain by first day of employment if experienced)
- One year of Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience
- Flexibility to work occasional adjusted shifts with minimal notice, including extended, additional, or overtime shifts
- Excellent customer service skills, including conflict de-escalation
- Valid driver's license & clean driving record
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Ability to regularly stand or walk for extended periods of time and distance (70%+ of a shift)
- Reliability regarding attendance, punctuality, uniform appearance and completion of company training
- Sound judgment & problem-solving techniques under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Responsive and proficient at technological communications (text, phone calls, radio, etc.)
- Ability to clearly and concisely understand and communicate information and ideas in written form
- Ability to complete tasks meticulously with great attention to detail

Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One year of Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience.
