Security Officer (Unarmed)

About This Role

This role will provide direct security and related public services, ensuring the safety and security of the hospital, staff, patients, and visitors, acting as a visible deterrent to illegal activities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the security and safety of the hospital, its staff, patients, and visitors
• Serve as a visible deterrent to illegal activities on hospital property
• Provide supervision for at-risk patients in the hospital environment

Requirements

• Completed High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications
• Strong vision abilities including color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
• Ability to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift
• Ability to move or lift objects up to 80 lbs.
• Ability to help restrain or lift a person

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED

Nice to Have

• Previous work experience with the public in a service setting
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet Tarian's company driving guidelines if applicable (for Driving Roles)
