This role supports safety and security operations through patrols, monitoring, access control, and customer assistance to protect hospital staff, patients, and visitors. You will serve as a visible deterrent to illegal activities and provide supervision for at-risk patients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patrols to support safety and security operations
- Monitor hospital premises and associated public services
- Perform access control duties
- Provide customer assistance as needed
- Serve as a visible deterrent to illegal activities on hospital property
- Provide supervision for at-risk patients in the hospital environment
Requirements
- Completed High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain and maintain applicable licenses or certifications
- Strong vision abilities including color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Ability to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift
- Ability to move or lift objects up to 80 lbs.
- Ability to help restrain or lift a person
- Ability to meet Taser qualification standards and obtain/maintain license/permit for Taser
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED

- Previous work experience with the public in a service setting
