Security Solutions of America is seeking motivated Security Officers for positions in North East Florida. This role involves monitoring premises, responding to incidents, and maintaining security to protect property and personnel.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises
- Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates
- Answer alarms and investigate disturbances
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
- Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons
- Circulate among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect property
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- U.S. Citizen
- Neat appearance
- Ability to pass a drug screening
- Ability to pass a background investigation
- Reliable transportation
- Smartphone
- Florida Class D License
- Professional demeanor
