About This Role

Join a fast-growing security guard and patrol company as a Security Officer in South West Florida. This role involves monitoring premises, preventing intrusion, and responding to disturbances to maintain security.

Responsibilities

Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises
Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates
Answer alarms and investigate disturbances
Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons
Circulate among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect property

Requirements

18 years of age or older
U.S. Citizen
Neat appearance
Ability to pass a drug screening
Ability to pass a background investigation
Reliable transportation and smartphone
Florida Class D License
Professional demeanor
