Security Officer

About This Role

This role involves ensuring the safety and security of client premises by conducting patrols, monitoring entrances/exits, and de-escalating conflicts. Security Officers frequently interact with employees and guests, identify and report safety issues, and provide assistance during emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Resolve and de-escalate conflicts
• Secure entrances and exits
• Conduct patrols inside and outside client premises in various weather conditions
• Interact with client employees and guests
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or suspicious activity
• Protect evidence or scenes of incidents during accidents, emergencies, or security investigations
• Set up barriers and signage, and provide direction or information
• Carry out specific tasks and duties as required for the assigned site

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma, GED, or ability to complete GED program within 6 months
• Standard computer and technology skills
• Ability to interact with individuals professionally
• Great attention to detail and vigilance throughout shift
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgment and appropriate escalation
• Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening process (drug screen and background investigation)
• Valid NM Guard License
• Ability to work 2 out of 3 shifts (open availability preferred)
• Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
• Customer service experience

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or ability to complete GED program within 6 months
