Security Officer

About This Role

As a Security Officer at DK Security, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of client properties by conducting patrols, managing access, and providing emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Assist client staff, visitors, and coworkers while maintaining a professional demeanor
• Observe and report suspicious activities and incidents
• Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned areas
• Ensure unauthorized persons do not enter restricted areas and check IDs for access control
• Ensure a safe and secure environment for all employees and visitors, enforcing policies
• Assist in emergencies, including administering CPR/First Aid/AED care and communicating with personnel
• Maintain professional communication with client staff and site supervisor/operations manager

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must pass a drug screening (including for marijuana)
• Must not have been convicted of any felonies or specified misdemeanors
• Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for 8-12 hours
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
• Must be CPR, First Aid, and AED certified (Child, Infant, and Adult), or willing to become certified
• Must be able to use a smart mobile phone or computer for emails and online training
• Must be able to fluently read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Must be professional and possess excellent customer service skills
• Must have excellent personal integrity and a positive attitude

Qualifications

• high school diploma or equivalent education certification, such as a GED
