Security Officer

About This Role

The Security Officer ensures the safety and security of patients, visitors, and employees at Baptist Medical Center Nassau by patrolling and monitoring properties. This role involves responding to unusual circumstances and unsafe situations, enforcing regulations, and assisting individuals.

Responsibilities

• Report any unusual circumstances and take appropriate corrective actions
• Ensure the protection of individuals from harm by monitoring for safety hazards
• Provide escort services
• Respond to unsafe situations
• Enforce hospital parking regulations
• Assist individuals with obtaining help for vehicle problems
• Respond and take appropriate action in all instances where the imminent threat of human life is occurring

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• 1-2 years of Law Enforcement experience or 1-2 years of Security Officer experience or 1-2 years of Military experience.
