Epic Research and Oncology Application Analyst

About This Role

This role involves supporting the design, optimization, and maintenance of Epic modules for clinical research and oncology workflows. The Analyst will collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to translate requirements, provide advanced configuration, and ensure data accuracy to enhance system performance and support patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance for the development, implementation, and support of highly complex, enterprise-wide, cross-functional applications and integrated technology solutions
• Troubleshoot multifaceted issues across software, hardware, interfaces, databases, and system security
• Participate as a team member on multiple initiatives, including enterprise-wide projects and hospital system implementations
• Support installation, upgrades, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of hospital information systems
• Maintain advanced knowledge of hospital-purchased software while ensuring data security and confidentiality
• Supervise staff as needed and contribute to policy development and creation of training materials for system users
• Deliver 24/7 support for assigned and enterprise-wide information systems

Requirements

• 1-3 years Information Technology Experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 1-3 years Information Technology Experience, 3-5 years of Epic build experience preferred, 3-5 years of OnCore system administration and calendar build experience preferred

Nice to Have

• Master's Degree
• Knowledge of clinical system applications
• 3-5 years of Epic build experience
• Epic Certifications in Research Clinical, Research Billing, EpicCare Ambulatory, Beacon
• 3-5 years of OnCore system administration and calendar build experience
• Experience with Oncore 3rd Party Application
• OnCore Certification
• Pediatric Protocol build experience
