About This Role

Provide direct patient care to individuals requiring medical or surgical treatment, upholding the hospital's mission, and educating patients and families on their care plans. This role involves coordinating with physicians and other hospital departments, advocating for patients, and participating in unit activities at Baptist South.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition
• Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement
• Educate patients and families to their disease process and plan of care
• Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital
• Coordinate care provided by ancillary services
• Act as the patient advocate
• Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities

Requirements

• Nursing Experience Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree - Nursing
• Nursing Experience Required
