Join CHS Inc. as a Seasonal Truck Driver in Garretson to haul fertilizer and agronomy products to farmer customers during the busy season, ensuring safe and timely deliveries while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely pick up/deliveries to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner
- Assist with or load or unload, as needed
- Provide excellent customer service, greeting customers promptly and courteously
- Promptly handle all customer concerns and elevate to leadership if required
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations including pre-trip/post-trip reporting, proper load securement, and hours of service
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicle(s) inside and out, and the work environment
- Complete and document daily maintenance inspections, ensuring proper equipment maintenance
- Maintain and promote a strong safety culture, following all safety policies, training, and PPE procedures
- Report all incidents (bodily or property), accidents, and traffic violations immediately to supervisor
- Enroll in and complete mandatory CHS random drug and alcohol testing program and Continuous Monitoring Program
- Assist operational staff and perform other duties as needed or assigned, including intercompany related driving
Requirements
- Class A or B CDL
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English and understand highway traffic signs and signals
- Maintain or be able to obtain a CDL and DOT medical card
