Seasonal Operations Specialist

About This Role

Join CHS Devils Lake as a Seasonal Operations Specialist, responsible for loading/unloading grain and agronomy products, mixing fertilizers, and performing equipment maintenance. This short-term role provides overtime opportunities and potential for full-time employment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload grain and agronomy products
• Mix and deliver fertilizer/chemical products
• Perform maintenance tasks on equipment and facilities
• Prepare trucks and railcars for loading/unloading
• Control and monitor all load out functions
• Operate automated scale/dump systems
• Conduct and properly record daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks
• Monitor and maintain quality of inventory
• Deliver products to customer sites
• Keep all work areas in a clean, orderly, and safe condition

Requirements

• Must meet minimum age requirement
• 1+ years of experience in Operations and/or Business Operations

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• 1+ years of experience in Operations and/or Business Operations

Nice to Have

• Ability to operate machinery such as loaders, conveyors, tractors, and track mobile
• Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons
• High School diploma or GED
• CDL license with Hazmat endorsement
• Agriculture experience
• Forklift certification
