Seasonal Applicator/Operations Specialist

About This Role

CHS Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Applicator/Operations Specialist to join their team in Mooreton, ND. This position involves loading, unloading, mixing, delivering agricultural products, and performing maintenance tasks on equipment and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Apply fertilizer and crop protection products with supervision, potentially using high clearance sprayer or floater.
• Interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Educate customers on products, techniques, and ongoing support options.
• Assist sales staff to ensure order accuracy and meet patron needs.
• Perform warehouse duties, including operating loaders, forklifts, and mechanics.
• Load and unload agricultural inputs from railcars and/or trucks using machinery.
• Pick up and deliver products to customers as needed.
• Execute general labor tasks, including maintenance, equipment inspection, and record keeping.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Agriculture Production, Operations, and/or Agriculture Application
• Meet minimum age requirement
• Meet DOT and Company requirements
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to operate machinery such as loaders, conveyors, tractors, and track mobile
• Ability to lift and load up to 75 lbs

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred

Nice to Have

• High School diploma or GED
• CDL license with Hazmat endorsement or ability to attain one
• Applicator's license
• Chemical application education and experience
• Forklift certification
• Farming/agriculture background
