CHS Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Applicator/Operations Specialist to join their team in Mooreton, ND. This position involves loading, unloading, mixing, delivering agricultural products, and performing maintenance tasks on equipment and facilities.
Responsibilities
- Apply fertilizer and crop protection products with supervision, potentially using high clearance sprayer or floater.
- Interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
- Educate customers on products, techniques, and ongoing support options.
- Assist sales staff to ensure order accuracy and meet patron needs.
- Perform warehouse duties, including operating loaders, forklifts, and mechanics.
- Load and unload agricultural inputs from railcars and/or trucks using machinery.
- Pick up and deliver products to customers as needed.
- Execute general labor tasks, including maintenance, equipment inspection, and record keeping.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Agriculture Production, Operations, and/or Agriculture Application
- Meet minimum age requirement
- Meet DOT and Company requirements
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Ability to operate machinery such as loaders, conveyors, tractors, and track mobile
- Ability to lift and load up to 75 lbs
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred
Nice to Have
- High School diploma or GED
- CDL license with Hazmat endorsement or ability to attain one
- Applicator's license
- Chemical application education and experience
- Forklift certification
- Farming/agriculture background
