School Speech Language Pathologist

About This Role

This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position serves elementary school students in Cypress, TX, providing speech therapy services and participating in IEP meetings. This contract role offers a meaningful chance to impact student communication development in a supportive educational environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments
• Provide direct speech therapy to students either in-person or virtually
• Participate in referral and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
• Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as part of the Speech Therapy Assessment Team (STAT)
• Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with school staff to support student progress

Requirements

• Active Texas SLP license
• Experience working in school-based settings
• Full-time availability (37.5 hours per week)
• Comfortable with commuting to Cypress, TX area locations

Qualifications

• Experience working in school-based settings

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with virtual speech therapy delivery
• Bilingual skills
