About This Role

Provide direct speech-language therapy services to K-12 students with mild to moderate speech and language disorders across multiple school sites in Jacksonville, FL, while collaborating with educational teams and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver individual and group speech-language therapy to students across multiple school locations within the district
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, therapy sessions, and related paperwork
  • Participate in meetings and contribute professional expertise to support student success
  • Comply with all district, state, and professional regulations regarding therapy services

Requirements

  • Active Florida Department of Health Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure
  • Ability to manage a substantial caseload with mild to moderate speech/language impairments
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Commitment to collaborative teamwork
  • Flexibility to work itinerantly among multiple school sites within the district

Qualifications

  • Experience working with school-age children from Pre-K to 12th grade

Nice to Have

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
