This is a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity in Sebring, FL, serving K-12 students by evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders, and developing individualized education plans.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students K-12
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress, adjusting intervention strategies as needed
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with state and federal education regulations
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities to support student success
Requirements
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP - CCC) in good standing
- Strong understanding of speech and language development in school-age children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and school staff
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in a school setting (SLP - School)
