About This Role

This role is for a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students' communication and speech development at an elementary school in Yuba City, CA, for the contract school year.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed speech-language pathologists in delivering speech and language services to students
• Implement therapy plans and facilitate progress monitoring
• Support individual and small group interventions tailored to student needs
• Document student performance and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to optimize student success

Requirements

• Valid SLPA credential or license as required by state regulations
• Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged children
• Knowledge of speech and language disorders commonly seen in school-aged populations
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to follow therapy protocols and adapt to individual student goals
