About This Role

This is a specialized contract opportunity for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support high school students within a unique educational program designed for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other learning differences. The role focuses on delivering personalized, skill-building therapeutic services in a non-traditional school setting in Ludlow, Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students with ASD and other learning differences
  • Collaborate with educators and other specialists to support student communication goals within the Compass High Program
  • Supervise and mentor the SLPA to ensure quality support and consistent therapeutic interventions
  • Maintain compliance with all state licensure and school requirements

Requirements

  • Valid state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Experience working in school settings, especially with high school students
  • Familiarity with developmental disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorders
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a specialized educational team

Qualifications

  • Experience working in school settings, especially with high school students.
