The School Psychologist will support students' academic, social, and emotional development by conducting psychological assessments, developing individualized education plans, and collaborating with school staff and parents.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' strengths and needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services when needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a positive school climate
Requirements
- Valid state licensure or certification as a school psychologist
- Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and creating data-driven interventions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse student populations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning
