School Occupational Therapist

About This Role

Provide comprehensive occupational therapy interventions to K-8 students in an onsite setting. Conduct evaluations, monitor progress, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student development and educational needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy interventions tailored to K-8 students' developmental and educational needs
• Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare providers to develop individualized treatment plans
• Conduct evaluations and ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive educational environment

Requirements

• Licensed Occupational Therapist
• Experience in school-based settings
• Familiarity with K-8 educational environments and caseload management
• Skills in both healthcare-related occupational therapy and school-based interventions
• Ability to work effectively with children in a school setting and coordinate with home health services if necessary
• Strong communication and organizational skills
