School Occupational Therapist

About This Role

Provide occupational therapy services to elementary school students in Avondale, AZ, supporting their functional and developmental needs within an educational environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy services to a caseload of approximately 40 students with mild to severe needs
• Provide compensatory services and tailored interventions to support student success
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) as needed
• Collaborate with educators and school staff to integrate therapy goals within the educational environment

Requirements

• Valid Arizona Occupational Therapist (OT) license
• Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and provide services across multiple locations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have

• Experience working in school-based occupational therapy settings
