About This Role

Provide occupational therapy services to K-12 students in Palatka, FL, on a contract basis for the current school year. This role involves managing a caseload of approximately 30 students, including those with medically complex needs, and collaborating with school staff and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy to a caseload of approximately 30 students, including medically complex cases, from Pre-K through 12th grade
• Work closely with educators and families to support student needs through individualized education program (IEP) goals
• Maintain accurate documentation for therapy services
• Coordinate services across multiple school sites
• Collaborate effectively with school staff and families

Requirements

• Active Florida Occupational Therapist license

Qualifications

• Experience working in school-based therapy settings preferred.

Nice to Have

• Experience in school-based therapy settings
• Familiarity with Medicaid billing procedures and digital platforms (PIER, FRONTLINE)
• Ability to coordinate services across multiple school sites
• Strong organizational and communication skills
