About This Role

A K-8 school in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide specialized support one day per week, focusing on helping students develop essential skills for academic success and daily life. This long-term substitute position offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative educational environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized occupational therapy services aligned with students needs and IEP goals
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom setting
• Monitor student progress and update documentation according to district and state guidelines
• Provide consultative support to staff to enhance student participation and engagement

Requirements

• Valid Occupational Therapy licensure applicable in the state of Minnesota

Nice to Have

• Experience working in K-8 school settings, preferably as a school-based OT
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication and organizational skills
