Serve as a part-time School Counselor for elementary schools in Valencia, CA, focusing on social-emotional learning, bullying prevention, and crisis intervention for the 2025-2026 school year and summer.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the district counseling team
• Deliver social-emotional learning (SEL) lesson planning and instruction, with a focus on topics such as bullying prevention
• Conduct crisis interventions as necessary to support student well-being

Requirements

• Background in school-based counseling within elementary education settings
• Possession of valid California state licensure in counseling
• Training and experience in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
• Proven ability to design and teach SEL lessons effectively
• Strong communication and collaborative skills for working with staff, students, and families
• Reliable transportation to serve multiple school locations
